Marita Davies is an Australian/I-Kiribati writer. A storyteller at heart, Marita explores Pacific issues including women, health, domestic violence and climate change. She is passionate about recreating the animated and insightful oral storytelling of Pacific Islanders in written form. Marita is author of the children's book Teaote and the Wall -  which introduces young audiences to life living on the frontlines of rising sea levels in Kiribati. She shares stories for articles and publications including: The Guardian, Lindsay magazine, frankie, The Big Issue and Dumbo Feather. Marita also writes strategic content for businesses and is part of the Tank team, a B Corp certified, strategic consultancy.
