Darcy Shiber-Knowles is the Director of Operational Sustainability and Innovation at Dr.
Bronner’s, the top-selling natural brand of soap in the U.S., famous for its tingly peppermint soap,
leadership on regenerative organic agriculture, radical labels, and corporate activism. Since 2013,
Darcy has played a pivotal role in the development of Dr. Bronner’s sustainability efforts including
securing 100% renewable power, environmental footprinting and reporting, creating the world’s
first-ever Fair Trade Internship Program, and launching the company’s Green Team to engage
employees in environmental work. In her role at Dr. Bronner's, Darcy oversees global sustainability,
as well as leading quality, research & development, and compliance with Dr. Bronner’s many third-
party certifications, including B Corp, USDA Organic, Regenerative Organic, Fair Trade, Vegan, and
more. She serves on the steering committee for the B Corp Climate Collective, and is proud Dr.
Bronner’s has been honored to as Best for the World Overall, Best for Community, and Best for the
Environment. Darcy holds a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science from Barnard College at
Columbia University, and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
