Mariana has over 17 years of experience in sustainability and positive social and environmental impact projects. Extensive international experience (throughout America, Europe, Asia and Oceania) focused on sustainable cities, unfolded into corporate sustainability strategies and innovative programs of waste management, energy and water efficiency, Green House Gas reductions, with strong operation on supply chain, though her consultancy Urbanidade.
She is a Member of the São Paulo State Commission for the Sustainable Development Goals, advisor on the management board of the infrastructure and environment secretariat of the State of São Paulo and teaches at several universities.
Since early 2020 is Chief Sustainability Officer at Nude., a Food Tech developing plant-based products made from organically-grown oats, produced by small growers. Launched as a Carbon Negative company, Nude has the Carbon Footprint of each product on the package.
